- "You eat meat with your teeth and you kill things that are better than you are, and in the same respect you say how bad and even killers that your children are. You make your children what they are." - Charles Manson
- When people think of Charles Manson they think of a psychotic man who was responsible for coldheartedly killing many people. He is a psychotic man who never really killed anyone but in fact used his leadership skills and manipulative ability to take advantage of other people so they would kill for him.
- Many people remember Charles Manson as the convicted serial killer who had become an icon of evil. In the late 1960’s Manson founded a hippie cult group known as “the family”, who he had manipulated into brutally killing others as a product of his madness. Manson was blamed for killing over nine people.
- Abstract Charles Manson was born in Cincinnati, Ohio to 16-year-old Kathleen Maddox. Kathleen had run away from home at the age of 15 and spent the next few decades drinking too much, with periods of time spent in jail. Since his mother couldn't take care of him, Charles spent his youth at the homes of various relatives and often at special reform schools and boys homes. By age nine, Charles Manson had already started stealing and soon added burglary and stealing cars to his repertoire.

- Manson's rise was brought on by Helter Skelter, which is an "apocalyptic war stemming from racial tensions between blacks and whites," according to the book "Helter Skelter: The true story of The Manson Murders." Manson predicted a racial Armageddon and considered himself the war's heir. In the 1960's, Manson preached that blacks would rise up and seek revenge against the white race . He believed that it was his job to try and stop this scenario from happening. Robert Ringer (look into him) wrote that Manon's visions of the racial tensions may have recently come true in America with incidents such as the one in Ferguson, Missouri. Ringer continued that "an all-out race war was inevitable," in Manson's mind. When Manson was an inmate in 1964 following a forgery conviction, his obsession with the British rock group, The Beatles was noted by fellow inmates. Manson believed that the Beatles songs spoke to him clearly.
- According to an excerpt from Helter Skelter: the True story of The Manson Murders, a family member said: 'At that point Charlies credibility seemed indisputable. For weeks he had been talking of revolution, prophesying it. We had listened to him rap; we were geared for it- making music go program young love. Then, from across the Atlantic, the hottest music group in the world substantiates Charlie with an album which is almost blood-curdling in its depiction of violence. It was uncanny.' - Manson's popularity with the cult continued and it wasn't long before he devised a plan to stop the racial uprising he forecasted.
- Him and The Manson family had worked on songs for an album, which was supposed to help cultivate the violence - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HOTnvPE_LMY

- In august 1969, The Manson Family committed the murders of five people, including actress Sharon Tate, who was residing in the home at the time. Before leaving the home, Atkins smeared blood on the wall to write the word 'PIG', which many presume signified George Harrison's song, 'Piggies.'
- The next night, six Manson Fmaily members followed Charles' orders and got into the home of supermarket executive Leno LaBianca and his wife Rosemary. After the murders, the words "Helter Skelter" (spelled incorrectly) were drawn in blood on the couples fridge.
- "Is it a
conspiracy that the music is telling the youth to rise up against the
establishment because the establishment is rapidly destroying things? Is that a
conspiracy? The music speaks to you every day, but you are too deaf, dumb, and
blind to even listen to the music …It is not my conspiracy. It is not my music.
I hear what it relates. It says ‘Rise,’ it says ‘Kill.’ Why blame it on me? I
didn’t write the music."
